Auto loan with wrong SS#?

Did a online auto loan application and accidentally mixed two of my ss# numbers up on the application. I didn't find out till after purchasing the car. bank calls me telling me there's a discrepancy on my SS# after everything was signed. just wondering what could happen,i think the bank left it with the incorrect ss#, cause its not showing up on my credit report.
