I just bought a BMW 7 Series and the Auto Stability control malfunction light came on. What should I do?

I just bought a 2001 BMW 7 series from a dealer and the Automatic Stability Control light came on when I was sitting idle. Should I dump this car or should I not worry? It turned off after I shut the car off and turned it back on.
