Overdue, how can I tell my bf having sex wont harm the baby?

I'm 3 days overdue and pretty much desperate for anything to put myself in labor lol. I had a prenatal on Monday and my doctor said my cervix is soft, that's it. How can I tell my bf sex will not hurt the baby?
