Ethical Question & Auto Repair?

The person did not act ethically. They should have brought it to the attention of the older gentleman that the deal they worked out prior was for different tires and paid the difference. Failure to do so could result in the older man's termination when the boss finds out he undersold the tires. And you don't want that on your conscience.
