GREEK MYTHOLOGY NYX - EREBUS - THREE FATES HELP?

Ok, so I read somewhere about nyx's children (the three fates) were cursed by erebus that they could never walk in daylight and thats how they were named 'vampires'. Why did Erebus curse the fates? I dont get it. Its for a report im doing. So- THANKS FOR ALL YOUR HELP..!!
