Why can i find a auto insurance quote?

hi i have a 1991 honda accord and my parents said insurance might cost $67 but i went to gieco and progressive website and i got quoted for $148 a month, 6 month policy.....what am i doing wrong i dont have any dui car crashes or anything....why is it quoting me so high
